What percentage of U.S. men win custody cases?
We're not sure what percentage of U.S. men win custody cases, but we do know that this is an important question to ask and answer.
In fact, it's not just a question—it's a question that has been asked and answered by many people over the years. One study found that only about a quarter of fathers who fought for custody won it, but another study found that three-quarters of fathers who fought for custody won it.
So why the difference in results? It's hard to say for sure, but one possibility is that some fathers were already more likely to be awarded custody than others. Another possibility is that some judges were more likely to award custody than others. And yet another possibility is that some lawyers were more likely to win custody cases than others.
The Percentage of Men Who Win Custody Cases
The percentage of men who win custody cases is probably pretty low.
Why? Because it's really hard to prove that a woman is unfit to be a parent. It's not like she did something wrong or anything—it's just that sometimes, women are better at parenting than men.
And what about those women who don't want to be parents? Well, there are other ways to prove that you're not fit to be a parent than just having kids. For example, if you don't want kids, maybe you should get married instead of getting pregnant and having them! Or maybe you could adopt some kids from overseas who need homes more than we need more parents!
Men might not have any problems getting custody because they don't have as much trouble proving their worth as parents.
According to a recent study, only 2% of custody cases in the United States are won by men. The study also found that 40% of men who ask for child custody are awarded sole or joint custody, compared to 25% of women who ask for child custody.
